Bio

Amanda Vicknair is a Family Nurse Practitioner and has accumulated extensive experience in thoracic surgery, emergency medicine, and allergy care. She specialized in the allergy field, where she developed a specialization in treating and managing atopic dermatitis, pediatric asthma, environmental allergies, and urticaria.

Amanda’s journey into the medical field began while caring for her grandmother during her battle with cancer, where she was inspired by the compassion shown by the healthcare team. This experience ignited her passion for serving others, leading her to work in various settings before focusing on allergy care. Now, Amanda loves allergy care, where she can provide world-class care to patients dealing with allergies, asthma, and related health issues.

Originally from Enterprise, Alabama, Amanda met her husband while studying at the University of Alabama. They are enthusiastic Crimson Tide fans. Together with their twin daughters, they enjoy outdoor activities, including trips to the beach, biking, and swimming. They share their home with a dog named Charlie.
