Bio

Giana Nicoara, MD, is a compassionate and highly skilled allergist with over 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide array of allergic diseases, ranging from pollen and pet allergies to complex asthma, hives, and eczema. Her diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are complemented by her strong interpersonal communication skills, attributes that make her a patient favorite. Dr. Nicoara, being an asthma and allergy sufferer herself, empathizes with her patients, understanding the challenges they face when symptoms are poorly managed. It is her mission to alleviate these challenges, helping patients achieve symptom-free lives or, at the very least, minimize their symptoms to restore normalcy.

Originally from Romania, Dr. Nicoara immigrated to the United States as a teenager and is fluent in four languages: English, Romanian, Spanish, and French. While she spent much of her life in the Midwest, she has grown fond of the Southern lifestyle, including its agreeable weather. Dr. Nicoara is married to David, a personal trainer and professional bodybuilder, and they share their home with three beloved dogs. She is also the proud mother of her resilient daughter Noelle, a two-time leukemia survivor. In her spare time, Dr. Nicoara enjoys ballroom dancing and looks forward to resuming this passion in the future.
